Trevor Zimmer

COVAX Country Readiness & Delivery

Trevor directs the COVAX delivery unit responsible for supporting countries to administer COVID-19 vaccines; additionally, he’s an advisor to the Boost Community and is producing a documentary on introducing COVID-19 vaccines in Kenya. Previously, he was an Associate Partner and Design Director at Dalberg Design, helping to lead the firm’s health and innovation practice. At Dalberg, his focus was on creative facilitation, design research, innovation, and storytelling, which he applied to global health, change management, and new ventures.

Prior to Dalberg, Trevor worked with the Clinton Foundation. During a secondment with the South African Department of Health, he worked on an HIV treatment optimization study that improved patient outcomes and saved millions of dollars a year. He also coordinated the operations and budget for a program to increase access to essential medicines for children in India, Kenya, Nigeria, and Uganda. Trevor has a master’s degree from The Fletcher School at Tufts University and an undergraduate degree from the University of Washington. He lives in and is a native of San Francisco.
