
Bhavana Chilukuri
Advisor, Preventing Pandemics at the Source
Bhavana is an Advisor to Dalberg Catalyst’s initiative for Preventing Pandemics at the Source. She previously served as Catalyst’s inaugural Director of Programs, where she worked closely with the CEO to launch the organization from the ground up and design Catalyst’s earliest initiatives.
Before joining Catalyst, Bhavana spent several years at Dalberg Advisors and as an independent consultant, where she worked with clients like USAID, the Gavi Vaccine Alliance, the Gates Foundation, and others on creating better outcomes for low-income communities - particularly within the realms of global health, food & nutrition, and conservation.
Bhavana has previously worked as an international economist at the U.S. Treasury, in human rights research at Amnesty International, and as a schoolteacher to first-generation learners in western India. She graduated with a dual B.A. in Economics & History from the University of Maryland and holds an M.A. in International Development from Johns Hopkins SAIS.
